Blossoms — Songs From The Wedding Cake

A pop-up shop created for Stockport band Blossoms to mark the release of their sixth studio album, Songs From The Wedding Cake.

Set in Castle Yard in Stockport’s historic Market Place, the temporary shop opened over the album’s release weekend, bringing together exclusive merchandise, vinyl and a space for fans to celebrate the record in the band’s hometown. The opening drew large queues, with the band making a surprise appearance during the weekend.

Tim Denton designed and made the shop furniture and displays to form a complete temporary retail environment. Bespoke labels and birch plywood lightboxes, fitted with removable prints, were used to create a narrative around the making of the album.
